Am I being unreasonably shallow?

I met a guy on tinder. We had our first date last Friday night and our second date yesterday.

I like him. His personality is great. There is sexual attraction there (although I haven't had sex in so long it's no surprise). He has a great body. He has a daughter and we're both on the same wavelength in that our dd's will always come first.

But.. I don't like his teeth. They're clean, it's not a case of poor oral hygiene but they're a bit crooked and it sort of ruins his smile.

Am I being really shallow? Apart from that he ticks a lot of boxes.

I guess you should try another couple of dates and if it really is becoming a problem, you clearly do not fancy him and best to meet someone else.
( or suggest he looks into a brace, adults can have them too ) he might be self conscious about them too, you never know.

One of my top front teeth juts out a fair bit - my son also managed to break it last year as well so its all slanted at the bottom.

I'm really self conscious about it and feel like it ruins my face. But... If someone is put off by it then they're put off by it, you can't help how you feel. It's early days and if it bothers you then end it - but please don't say it's because of the teeth, it would probably really hurt him.

Don't beat yourself up OP, and don't let others on here do the same.

At this moment in time, he's not quite right for you. You can't help why this is so, it just is.

I agree. I've been married for over thirty years and I remember the moment I first met my DH and noticed his amazing teeth. They are still one of the things that I find really attractive about hm. It has also helped ensure our DC all have beautiful teeth. My teeth are a bit crap so I was probably extra obsessed with lovely teeth.

Nobody's perfect........ if you really liked him then his teeth wouldn't be an issue.

Teeth aside, just take it as a sign that he's not right for you and move on.

I would never ever mention his teeth. Believe it or not I'm not a bitch. I think we must all have different definitions of crooked.
