Trying to find a 7 seater car that has a good sized boot with all seats in use.
Why do most of them have the tiniest boot?

Can anyone recommend one that is be able to fit a pram in?

This is currently our dilemma. I want a VW Caravelle, but finances, and frankly the number of miles we do, say we'll probably have to go for the Alhambra. but if this baby is twins it looks like it'all have to be the i800

Just checked out the VW Caddy Maxi, Minxy and it looks good, but why does it have to look so much like a hearse from the side?!

We had just bought a new Galaxy when our 5th baby was born but ended up changing it as it didn't have a spare tyre & I got stranded a couple of times waiting for the AA to come to the rescue with a screaming baby & not enough milk Blush if we bought a spare tyre and put it in the boot then there was no room for the twin buggy!
Yet, if you used the special puncture repair kit that came with it, you ended up having to buy a new tyre as all our local garages refused to scrape the solution out and repair the tyre...

We bought a new Ssangyong Rodius which was a very big mistake!!

It had a massive boot even with all 7 seats up which held a twin pram, reams of shopping, holiday equipment, etc...

But it cost a fortune to run and so much went wrong with that car it was an absolute nightmare!! It had 3 years warranty and in those 3 years there was thousands of pounds of work done, we had to get rid of it shortly after the warranty expired.
We paid nearly £15k for it but could only get a maximum of £1500 when just over 3 years** old! Nobody wanted to touch the damned thing.

We have friends with bigger families too, they bought the same with exactly the same results...

Not sure what to recommend to be honest, but definitely not it!!

Haha, somedays!!!! Ours is bright blue, so not chance of being mistaken for a hearse! I've seen some really funky colours since they've started to get a bit more well-known as a car, rather than a British Gas van 😂
We are going to run this one until it dies, we love it! Will prob get another next time, as we will never be able to afford a Transporter 😩

My friends MIL has/had a Nissan largo, its an import so not so easy to find but the boot size is brilliant, all the seats can move so if you have people with little legs you can move the back seats closer together to get more boot space. We've borrowed it to take 7 adults and full camping equipment to festivals before without any issues at all.

I think she may have changed it now as it had finally given up after about 10 years but it was the perfect big family car without being a minibus.

Place marking

Look at the VW Caddy Maxi Life. I love mine. With 7 seats, it has a full size boot. I could put my big pram in it, without folding it down. The back two seats/bench come out completely, which basically turns it into a 5 seater with a big van boot. I'll be getting the same again when this one ever dies.

Don't bother with a Nissan qashqai plus 2, we have exactly the same problem.

We had an xc90 which was amazing. An aldi q7 which was good but not as good as the Volvo.
We now have a Land Rover discovery sport, and with all 7 seats in use, the boot has a depth of 8cm!!! Not suitable for much at all!! But we live in oz and go off road a lot and that was pretty much our best option to go offloading with 7 seats.

I had the xc90 while living in England and it wasn't expensive to run. We had a desiel and it was pretty economic considering the size of the car.
