AIBU to think my bf daughter is to young to have her dyed?

My friend is allowing her 11 yr old daughter to get her hair dip dyed. AIBU to tell her she is way to young?

My daughter has pink dip dye at the mo. Has done for 3 years. She loves it. Quit teaching young girls their bodies are open to scrutiny and comment from others and butt out.

I have dyed the ends of my 3 years old's hair pink before- I wouldn't have used a permanent one and also wouldn't have let it get in contact with her skin. Her hair gets naturally sunbleached at the ends- no way I'd have used a lightener on her. Would also draw the line at 'natural' shades until she's closer to her teens. However, I really don't see the harm in a few weeks of a bit of pink.... and when my hair is often a bright shade it seemed hypocritical to say she couldn't!

In short, 11 seems fine to me!
