Definitely newborn baby and agree with just washed baby too! Can't stop smelling my 4 month old, she smells lush!!

Also, freshly baked bread, freshly washed bedlinen and the feeling of getting into bed with fresh pyjamas after having had a lovely bath!

Hair after its been washed and put up the whole day and then you take out in the evening to air it out!

But nothing beats newborn baby... Smile

Grindelwaldswand · 06/01/2017 22:25

I actually don't like the smell of newborns weirdly enough Confused they smell faintly like urine to me Blush but you can't exactly tell a new mum that can you

icy121 · 06/01/2017 22:26

Bleached surfaces
Clean fresh towels off the line in the summer

mylittlephoney · 06/01/2017 22:29

When you used to walk past a pub at night and you'd get old ale and stale cigarettes. Odd I know but as a kid I lived above a pub for a year. You will never smell it now because of the smoking can. But that's mine.

mylittlephoney · 06/01/2017 22:30

That's ban not can.

SpeakingThumb · 06/01/2017 22:30

Winter honeysuckle.

Chloe1984 · 06/01/2017 22:31

I love the smell of my cat, he just smells absolutely gorgeous, when you put your nose into his long haired fur on his neck and give it a big sniff, can't describe the smell but it melts my heart Smile

Harvestmoonsobig · 06/01/2017 22:32

Imperial Leather soap. So true that smell triggers memories. Ah!

aquashiv · 06/01/2017 22:33

Irish turf fire.
Home made bread.
Coffee.😎

My Next posh reeds thing smells amazing.

GogoGobo · 06/01/2017 22:33

YANBU AT ALL!
The smell of a freshly bathed 5 month old is delectable!

NapQueen · 06/01/2017 22:35

My pillow when I'm tired. Must be a mental thing as it doesn't have any scent day to day, but if I'm tired I can smell it just walking into the bedroom. And I know it's my pillow as if I then smell it it smells of sleep Grin

hopes I'm not the only one

CatsRidingRollercoasters · 06/01/2017 22:37

I'm with Untilthecows - post roast dinner, heating on smell is so comforting. Especially combined with freshly washed sheets.

Clothes dried on the line.

Freshly cut grass.

I agree with you though OP, nothing beats a freshly Johnsoned baby. Both mine have had their hair washed tonight and I am now fighting off the urge to go and sniff them both.

DJBaggySmalls · 06/01/2017 22:37

Puppies.

Xmasfairy86 · 06/01/2017 22:39

Post it's. Straight out the packet. Amazing!! Do it, you won't regret it!!

5OBalesofHay · 06/01/2017 22:44

Warm pony breath on a cold day is nearly as lovely as bathed baby but lasts so much longer

nurseinwonderland · 06/01/2017 22:45

Stargazer lilies.
Garlic in cooking
Ah, the memories of a Johnson bathed baby. I'm the other end of the spectrum now with my 11yo soap dodging DS Grin
I definitely don't sniff his hair any more Grin

PatsysPyjamas · 06/01/2017 22:51

The smell when you water a tomato plant. Amazing!
New books
Matches
and everything aquashiv said

preparedtobeshotdown · 06/01/2017 22:52

Leather.

wurlycurly · 06/01/2017 22:55

Christmas trees
Steam rising from rusty pipes in a greenhouse
Roses at night after the rain
After the rain when it's been really dry for days
Mossy forests
Roast chicken
The smell of the cold that people bring in with them
The smell of a hot day just about to happen
Woodsmoke
Pears soap before they changed it
The puppy sitting on my knee

Maz2444466 · 06/01/2017 22:56

Ahhh enjoy OP, such a lovely smell. :)

WinterRose92 · 06/01/2017 23:00

Oh god, yeah, a freshly bathed baby is the best! Got my three week old next to me, all cosy and warm after his bath earlier and I can't stop sniffing him! Grin
I also love the smell of candles when they have just been blown out. And agree with the roast dinner smell - lush!

GodSaveFuManchu · 06/01/2017 23:01

I agree with the newborn baby smell. Gorgeous.

I really love the smell of filter coffee and toast too.

JaniceBattersby · 06/01/2017 23:03

While I've been pregnant I've had the most amazing heightened sense of smell. I've been hanging around in petrol stations getting a fix for much longer than I've needed to.

My all-time top three smells are:

The inside of a new pencil case.

Turpentine.

Lancashire hotpot, just out of the oven.

ChocoChou · 06/01/2017 23:04

I spent quite some time sniffing my sons head this evening. But he's 12 so not quite a new born but still lovely Grin (he's yet to become a smelly teenager)

Amethyst81 · 06/01/2017 23:08

A weird one but a bunny Blush I love that hay smell, it reminds me of spring and fresh cut grass
