To think that if you pay £325 for children's shoes then you can't complain if they get scuffed?

Gold medal winning sadface here. The mother does seem to have made a career out of this sort of publicity but seriously, kids are tough on their clothes and shoes. If you're not happy with that then don't spend over £300 on a pair!!

Ha, Judge Rinder would eat her alive!

Celaena · 07/01/2017 08:20

I bet she's absolutely gutted she's only made it into the local rag so far and is desperate for the DM to pick this up

I hate to admit seeing it, but she was the headline on the DM for a bit SadSadSad

LadyOfTheCanyon · 07/01/2017 08:40

Just been on her FB page - she's ordered from Alibaba "designed some handbags" which are " available in any material Hun. Inbox me."

Fadingmemory · 07/01/2017 08:47

Sarah Who? The only way she will be in any way public is through stunts like this.

mirokarikovo · 07/01/2017 08:57

Poor child. She must be very lonely.
I think all we can do is wait to welcome her into the stately hones threads when she is old enough to find us.

DollyPlastic · 07/01/2017 09:02

I agree with those pp saying the DDs not a model.

No way.

CalebHadToSplit · 07/01/2017 09:09

She also made and sent a dress made out of Skittles to Lada Gaga that got squashed on the flight...

Some children are really let down by their parents. Poor child!

QueenoftheAndals · 07/01/2017 09:14

Her daughter is about as much a model as she is a world-famous fashion designer. Just delusional.

OP posts:
Aeroflotgirl · 07/01/2017 09:30

Her child is cute in the way that any oyher 3 year old is, nothing exceptional! The mum is deluded anyway, those boots look quite plastic and cheap tbh. I saw some similar in Marks the other day.

Celaena · 07/01/2017 09:55

Where is the poor friends mum? The one who got the 'invoice'?

She must be a mums netter!! Come on with a nc PLEASE!!

DurhamDurham · 07/01/2017 09:57

I reckon it's just a set up to get her back in the paper yet again, the other mum is probably in on it, some people crave fame and think of increasingly stupid ways to do it.

Slightlyperturbedowlagain · 07/01/2017 10:09

It's obviously up to her how she spends her money but Ive just followed the 'skittles' link and seen 'Twelve months ago the former beautician, 27, and her two children were relying on the kindness of friends to keep a roof over their heads.
I wonder what those friends will think about the £325 shoes...

Sptownmama · 07/01/2017 10:18

I read online yesterday that her next project is making a dress out of human sperm... Not quite sure how that is going to work. Oh and the boots totally look like plastic wellies to me.

Gooseberryfools · 07/01/2017 10:21

What a isolating sterile unadventurous and limited childhood that girl is going to have. The mothers preciousness will stamp out any messy play adventures. No climbing trees, wrestling through squelchy muddy puddles or rolling down fields with dandelion clocks. Parents actively avoiding play dates in order to avoid bills, clashing ethos and public attention.

i feel sorry for Nicola too.

movpov · 07/01/2017 10:36

Poor child, having such a stupid and publicity obsessed creature for a mother. Problem is, she'll probably grow up the same

Mumoftwoyoungkids · 07/01/2017 10:36

She's 28 and has a 13 year old. So either she had her eldest at 15 (perfectly possible) or she is telling very naughty fibs about her age!

ZuzaPa · 07/01/2017 10:57

I always buy my child nice shoes... for me that's clarks!! And nothing makes me happier than seeing them wrecked and scuffed.. it shows shes been busy & played lots.... a pristine pair of children's shoes is actually quite sad!

Goingtobeawesome · 10/01/2017 08:11

The mother is about to be on Good Morning Britain..

Celaena · 10/01/2017 08:21

Oh no, more publicity for an attention junkie

feckthemall · 10/01/2017 08:36

as expected Piers Morgan ripped her a new one. I actually muted it as it was getting very uncomfortable when she started crying and talking about how she was abused as a child. There are obviously serious psychological reasons behind this girls behaviour. She needs a good therapist and strong support system not fame.

NathanBarleyrocks · 10/01/2017 08:56

I don't often like Piers Morgan's aggressive style of 'interviewing' but in this instance she deserved it. Why, if she had been bullied on social media, did she agree to go on TV to talk about the stupid thing she did? Also, if she has so much money she can afford to spend £300 on children's boots, would she need to invoice the other mother? Obviously not the big 'success' she reckons she is.

Oliversmumsarmy · 10/01/2017 09:14

Just to clear up any questions about child modelling. DD and ds did child modelling. Either the production company had your childs measurements and had the clothes or costume on set or at the most you are asked to bring selection of yellow tops or brightly coloured tights or red shorts etc. Nothing with any logos on. Which usually meant a quick trip to Primark or the local supermarket and keep the receipt as apart from the stuff that was worn on the day everything went back. I haven't in all the years dc did it for been asked to provide designer anything. Most of the time the kids were made to look generic ordinary not stand out well dressed.
I think this woman would have been horrified
DD did a child protection advert and I had to provide a grubby t.shirt and skirt. DD was made up to look like she had a black eye and hadn't been washed for sometime.
The only time they were asked to wear designer clothes was when they were actually at photography shoots for a particular designer.

I don't think I spent £325 on a years worth of clothing at that age for 2 of them.
Just had kittens spending £64 on dance leggings/trousers for dds Christmas present

Nanna61 · 10/01/2017 20:35

Having heard this story on the radio, I had to see what comments were made on Mumsnet. AIBU to think this is a form of child abuse? I find this all quite disturbing. The kid is dressed up like a dog's dinner, clearly led to believe she is something special, not allowed to get mucky. This surely isn't appropriate parenting. If the kid hasn't got psychological issues yet, she will have.
£325 clod hoppers, that amount of money would keep the average child in shoes for a year.
Perhaps this is a publicity stunt, turns out to be public humiliation for mother and child! If the kid grows up with her mother's attitude to life, perhaps she will sue her when she doesn't have friends, can't form relationships and doesn't succeed as a model! It will help her pay for her admission to the Priory!

BratFarrarsPony · 10/01/2017 21:08

honestly I would not be surprised if she now gets a visit from SS
