To think that if you pay £325 for children's shoes then you can't complain if they get scuffed?

Gold medal winning sadface here. The mother does seem to have made a career out of this sort of publicity but seriously, kids are tough on their clothes and shoes. If you're not happy with that then don't spend over £300 on a pair!!

No way did those shoes cost £325!!! They do not look like 'fine Italian leather' to me.

Manumission · 06/01/2017 18:17

Ha, yes. Italian leatothat looks like red plastic is a bit disappointing Grin

thecolonelbumminganugget · 06/01/2017 18:18

Coincidentally I was looking for a picture of a hideous pair of shoes to post on my mum's Facebook wall yesterday as a joke response to something she said. In the hunt for a picture of truly awful shoes it looks like I've happened upon a winner!

TheWitTank · 06/01/2017 18:20

I thought they were sparkly wellies when I saw them!

Mungobungo · 06/01/2017 18:21

Haha! What a knob.

I was surprised to see that 'fine Italian leather' looking mysteriously like the nasty synthetic patent plasticy stuff that give you blisters and pinches toes.

I feel for the poor kid, being used as a pawn to boost the woman's ego.

QueenoftheAndals · 06/01/2017 18:23

They look like standard wellies to me with some furry bits glued on Hmm

^She said: “If your child comes back with scratches on their body, you’d be like ‘what’s happened?’

“It’s the same with her shoes.^

Did she really mean to suggest that her kid's shoes are as precious as her body? Really?

Mungobungo · 06/01/2017 18:29

And my gosh, just googled the pube frock... did she get all her donations from chewbaca!?!?!
Surprisingly long and well conditioned hair that head been plaited and cooled around that bikini top...

This woman is a moron.

Who in their right mind pays out this sort of money for a 3 year old? She clearly has more money than sense.

Soubriquet · 06/01/2017 18:51

She's a twat.

That poor girl is like a barbie to her mother

Celaena · 06/01/2017 19:02

"I know nothing about modelling so this might be a stupid question but why would should need the shoes for her modelling "jobs"? Don't they provide the clothes?"

my thoughts exactly

raspberrysuicide · 06/01/2017 19:11

And shock horror they are scuffed underneath on the soles!

QueenoftheAndals · 06/01/2017 19:14

Well she has an official Facebook page so she must be a public figure!

OP posts:
TaliZorahVasNormandy · 06/01/2017 19:18

Like fuck are those shoes leather. The mum is a twat, an attention seeker and yeah, like fuck is she a fashion designer.

Goingtobeawesome · 06/01/2017 19:20

A public figure!!?! Grin

QueenoftheAndals · 06/01/2017 19:22

According to her website she's a well known fashion designer who's designs are taking over the world. But like Skynet?

OP posts:
HerBluebiro · 06/01/2017 19:22

She is a publicity seeker. Getting what she wants.

I would be annoyed if a 3 year old sharpied some shoes. I would expect an apology. I would not expect them to be replaced. I think if any of us had posted 'I bought dd a new pair of shoes and she came back from a play date with them covered in pen' we would get sympathy. Granted I would never buy 300 quid shoes (for myself or dd). But even 30 quid ones would be a stretch for me and I'd struggle to replace them - I'd be annoyed for a long time if they got ruined.

Still a bit weird to buy a 3 year old 60 pairs of shoes. She will only get to wear them once or twice each.

willstarttomorrow · 06/01/2017 19:23

You are all very unkind. It is well known that children's shoes are carefully chosen to demonstrate the love for your child in monetary value. It is like you think shoes should be about allowing a child to protect their feet and go out and act like a child! Mumsnet is a strange and alien place.

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 06/01/2017 19:25

Omg, that is where I'm going wrong. I buy my DD £25 shoes because I dont love that much.

Soubriquet · 06/01/2017 19:29

So the more you spend on shoes the more you love your kids? Hmm

Bullshit

Trainspotting1984 · 06/01/2017 19:33

"Take this higher"

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

PyongyangKipperbang · 06/01/2017 19:49

My friends child did some modelling and they often took stuff with them including shoes as shoes need to fit properly, and she would take several pairs to go with whatever outfit her DD wore, so I can understand that.

What I cant understand is why the child must be dressed in her best all the time, poor kid.

BakeOffBiscuits · 06/01/2017 19:50

I can't get over the complaining about the scuffed soles.

Does she expect her dd to hoverHmm

Twolittlejobbys · 06/01/2017 19:52

“It’s the same with her shoes. She’s not supposed to go outside with them.
“Wherever she goes, she goes with a bag of other shoes.”
