AIBU to ask if there are any compliance/finance professionals on mumsnet?

I have a potentially difficult situation here that I cAnt fully reveal on this thread

I'm very new to the world of finance and I don't know what is expected of me as an employee

If anyone here has an HR/compliance/finance background would you be able to help me with some advice please?

It's about a potential conflict of interest between my relationship and work

I don't know where to go can't afford a lawyer and don't know who to confide in

To give a little more background, the man I am with works for another part of the same company (complete different part, we are in separate offices)

But recently I found out he is violating a part of his employment contract. It's nothing illegal from whah I know...

Obviously I am not a fan of the idea of reporting him outright and getting him in trouble or fired

So I need someone to tell me what I should do
