To think that this is really weird behaviour?

I am friends on Facebook with the mum of one of my DS's friends. She's a really nice woman, seems perfectly normal, down to earth, and easy to get along with.

She is married and her husband is forever putting photos on Facebook of her, tagging her and saying things like "Don't you think my wife is fit as fuck?" to all his FB friends. He also does a lot of statuses about his "gorgeous wife" and says things like all men are jealous because he's married to the most sexy woman in the world.

I know we all love and fancy our spouses, and this woman is very attractive, but does anyone else think it's quite strange that a 40 something man is always doing this? It's as if he needs people to approve of his choice of wife or something.

Oh this is so cringey! There's a couple on Facebook that do similar things and I often wonder what they are compensating for.
Nothing sexual but the 'oh I'm so lucky I have the best/most gorgeous wife/husband in the world' type thing.
I'm certain it's just insecurity.
However the overtly sexual comments about this mans wife are pretty grim and objectifying.

Maybe she's the one who's insecure and this is his way of trying to show her how attractive she is?

If so, it's misguided but quite sweet really.

He's on Grindr for sure :)

It's good he fancies his wife although the public crowing seems a bit OTT.

Hopefully, he'll still retain this love and passion for her when she is no longer "fit as fuck".
