We do entertain a lot over Christmas and New Year but literally every day over the last week I have spent hours cleaning and tidying just so house looks half decent for guests (still littered with toys/presents etc but this is just life!). Dh and dc help lots too - where am I going wrong? How much time do you spend every day on domestic chores? Other people seem to have time for beach and park trips etc - we don't!!

I suppose it depends on your standards?

I've cleaned a lot this wk, I think everyone does after christmas? And we've also sorted toys/clothes etc. We've still been out too.

I spend too much time cleaning as well and we have a cleaner 6 hours a week!
In between her visits I still hoover every couple of days, always tons of washing to do, general tidying up and lately a lot of bleaching to hopefully rid the house of any remaining noro
Also have to do a lot of organising e.g. Kids clothes drawers etc as if it's not in order things don't go smoothly term time
