AIBU to be put out that my DP sent a birthday/ New Year greeting to his sister this morning, accompanied with a photo- only he sent a picture of himself and our two daughters and left me out of it. He can be very self obsessed but this has really annoyed me. It's not the first time he has done things like this and regularly just seems to 'forget me'. I'm not particularly close to his sister as she lives abroad but I often talk to her when she skypes. He has plenty of pictures of us together and sees absolutely nothing wrong! As usual he blames me saying I should have given him a recent pic with all of us on. I always seem to be left out of everything and I've been with him for 16 years and brought up his 3 young kids for 6 years whilst he was always at the gym! I must have been mad!!

He is financially abusive and talking to him won't change a thing. Do you have family nearby who can help, or friends. Start working, stop doing things for this dreadful man.

I've talked and talked to him many many times but nothing ever changes. It's always my fault with him saying how I have a good life. Tonight he said if someone isn't happy in a relationship then they should leave- of course he's talking about me but he knows that I have no means to do anything or go anywhere. We have no mutual friends, don't socialise only go out on birthdays( at my insistence) or when his older kids come to visit( his insistence). When I say we don't go out he says I take you out regularly( he means for an ice cream with the kids) it's crazy. Actually when years ago I insisted we should go out, I'd spend the evening with him hardly talking to me but watching other women etc. We'd end up arguing. The list goes on... Happy New year everyone. God Bless all of us.

New year, fresh start love.

Make sure that you are deleting your browser history too. Look up and look out, there's a life out there for you without him.
