to use a teapot?

I don't know anyone (aside from my pensioner parents, and they're in the minority amongst their friends too) that uses one. And until recently I never saw the point! I don't know what's changed, but six months ago I bought one. And I use it every day. Tea tastes so better. It's also spotty and verra cute.

I think I'm gonna buy a milk jug and a sugar bowl so I can serve tea to guests all proper like, instead of pouring it in the kitchen like someone who's ashamed of her teapot.

Aibu? Teapots are the superior way to make tea, right?

I love my teapot tea! Konyaa T2 is a great shop isn't it? I adore their Madagascan vanilla which I was introduced to by an Aussie friend with a similar tea obsession.

We have a plain white China pot for teabags and a stripy one from Whittard with an infuser for leaves - names is maybe Buckland or similar - it doesn't drip! Non-drippiness is a very important feature! I have carried on using several teapots with chips and broken spouts because I couldn't find a drip-free replacement. I have now consigned a couple to the garden for herb growing too.

I am very happy today because I babysat for a friend and she bought me leaf tea from Harrods as a thank you. Better than alcohol!!

We used one all the time last year when we went on a self catering holiday which had one there. Tea did taste so much better and it was more efficient for numerous brews. Kept saying I would buy one and keep forgetting, I will buy one next week Grin

I've used my aluminium tea pot for over 30 years. It was my mother's previously for many years. Clean it outside, never inside. No drips. It makes 6 cups on 2 tea bags. Made the mistake of putting it in the dishwasher and it has lost all of it's shine but would never replace it.
