That's it really. Some perfume and a chopping board because I've mentioned a few times that we need one for the kitchen!! I feel a little hurt to be honest but he thinks it's hilarious!

He's also buggered off for a nap while I'm sat with my Dd and Dm watching frigging Frozen for the gazilionth time.

Xmas is a bit shit really isn't it!

Chopping board=house stuff, not a personal present unless the recipient is a very keen chef who specifically requests it.

Op i dont see the issue tbh you got a gift. My partner LIED about getting me a gift! He got me NOTHING!

Given that you've either not bothered to read the thread or just don't care that the problem with this kind of response has been pointed out already:

Who the actual fuck cares that your partner is a waste of space? This is not a race to the bottom and the OP does not need to be happy with a chopping board that is at best a gift for the house and at worst a gift her DH has bought for himself.

I had bought my main present from DH (a kindle) as he is useless at presents.

But on Christmas eve he said he was going to get me a couple if small gifts too.

I thought lovely, he is being very thoughtful until I opened the carrier bag on Christmas day (as what's the point in taking the prices off and wrapping) and got post it notes and masking tape. I really wish he hadn't bothered. I did question it, the masking tape is for when I (not we) next decorate the house

Good job I love him!

I'd channel my inner gangsta and place his hand on the chopping board and tell him exactly what I thought of his present.

Send him on a hunt today for a proper present.

Or get him a broom for his birthday.
