It's that time of year again! Ds (now 22) loves to remind me and dh that we used to lie to him every single year about santa bringing him presents. Lol. He laughs like mad as we try to make our excuses Anyone else having this problem?

I remind my mum that she missed my primary 2 nativity play. It was the one show she missed. I big it up saying how I had to wave to my best friends mum when the teacher said we could wave to our mummies.

My dd is 16 and keeps bringing up how she won't lie to her children like I did! I always thought we'd made it magical 😢

My dd encourages ds to tell us off every year but she's older than him so had participated in the "lie"

And it's no good us calling it a fib or little white lie, ds says it categorically was a lie!
