Keith Allen is stark raving mad isn't he? He made a Diana conspiracy documentary,

Five years ago. How did I not know?

I'm watching it with my jaw on the table.

Being told I'm naive makes me feel quite young and sprightly it turns out boundaries Smile

People who believe this rubbish tend to believe lots of other nonsense too; it's like a gateway drug.
Next stop; moon landings, 9/11 troother stuff etc.

Boundaries · 24/12/2016 09:44

Blimey. I'm going to watch it. Will report back. What kind of snacks are appropriate?

diagnosed - as in met him or as in how I might diagnose Justin from Justin's House as a creep?

Boundaries · 24/12/2016 09:48

Manumission you wide eyed, innocent young fool Grin

Manumission · 24/12/2016 09:49

Soft snacks. Keep the choking risk low.

Grin @ gateway drug

Freedom of speech does not extend to repeatedly accusing someone of murder.

Some version of conspiracy theories still do the rounds. The vague, woolly ones.

Others don't. Usually because of defamation.

Remember the scale of the Diana Inquest? All those people testifying? Accusing several of them of perjury, with apparently no evidence whatsoever, isn't free speech. It's an accusation of participation in murder and perjury, something which when published can be a crime if untrue.

DaffyJones · 24/12/2016 10:00

Maaaaaa, maaaaaaa

GravyAndShite · 24/12/2016 10:00

The bottom line is that you are being unreasonable to label someone as crazy based on one piece of work they have produced.

Manumission · 24/12/2016 10:03

I think just possibly if I was one of those defamed by this I wouldn't bother trying to suppress it quite so energetically. It's such palpable rot i might take the position it's better seen than discussed.

Oliver James starts at 1hr 2m if anybody wants to check that part butbis shortbof time. I'm most shocked at him really.

Yes, fair dos gravy, its a strong phrasing, but you know it IS AIBU.

You okay there daffy love?

OP posts:
DaffyJones · 24/12/2016 10:06

Yes thanks, just trying to round you all up.

BeyondIBringYouGoodTidings · 24/12/2016 10:08

I read 'Oliver James' as 'Jamie Oliver'. Xmas Grin

CockacidalManiac · 24/12/2016 10:11

Daffy I didn't realise that you could get tifoil hats out of a christmas cracker. Calling people sheep because they don't share your delusions, indeed.

OohMavis · 24/12/2016 10:13

Daffy Grin

Think what you want, but if everyone started branding people who question the official version of events 'barking mad' we'd soon end up fucked.

Manumission · 24/12/2016 10:14

Beyond Grin

That would have been an interesting variant.

OP posts:
Manumission · 24/12/2016 10:15

Do collies say "maaaaa"? Hmm

OP posts:
Manumission · 24/12/2016 10:20

There's a big difference between investigative journalism and batshit. All that coke obviously had an effect on Keith.

Boundaries · 24/12/2016 10:21

Mavis - would you argue that David Icke is sane?

DaffyJones · 24/12/2016 10:21

Delusions? Like Jimmy Saville? Paeds in Parliament? New world order? State stealing kids? Yeah, that's right, delusions.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 24/12/2016 10:23

It's been taken down now, I just tried to add it to my watch later list.

ExcuseMyEyebrows · 24/12/2016 10:23

I watched it all, Manumission and I don't know if any of it's true - I don't know what happened any more than anyone else. Your naivete is in saying KA is 'stark raving mad' and journalists don't report what they're told to - this seems to be just accepting what we're fed by the establishment. I prefer a healthy dose of scepticism (on both sides).

Manumission · 24/12/2016 10:29

There's probably a nice, healthy middle way, I'd think Smile

OP posts:
Manumission · 24/12/2016 10:31

It keeps presenting me with alternatives right underneath. Suspiciously easy.

Apart from Savile, who everyone knew about long before he died, that is quite a list of delusions, yes.
