I am posting this for traffic. So look away now

I woke up a couple of weeks ago with a burn on my arm, it was a serious burn, but not that serious to warrant a doctor. I have no idea how it happened, where it is? It is roughly where you get the BCG jab (if they still do those)

It bloody hurts, this is the second time this has happened. The first time I did something to my back and had to go to A&E,.

These only seem to happen when I am stressed, could I be sleep walking and hurting myself? I don't have a massive history of self harm but there is one there if you see what I mean

No, writing that, you won't get it, I have self harmed but its not been as bad as it has for some people.

I am so damn confused

Self harm while sleep walking sounds possible.

Have you spoken to your GP?

sobeyondthehills · 24/12/2016 03:54

No, I have an appointment in the new year (closest I could get)

Sounds wise. Waking up with a burn must be scary.

You definitely could hurt yourself whilst asleep. My DH has a sleep disorder which has meant that he has in the past, run at top speed round our house in the middle of the night in the dark.

He's done it a few times and once he knocked himself out. I only knew becaiuse I couldn't sleep...I was in the sitting room sitting in darkness on my laptop when he thundered downstairs and ran into the toilet which is tiny...and straight into the wall.

very, and the fact we can only explain it by being on the bath towel thing, which involves the heating being on.

Or I did it to myself

I get what you are saying, but in your DP thing they didn't do it on pupose. In both of mine, they had to be done on purpose

Yes but what I'm illustrating is that you can be completely unaware whilst asleep.

user1477282676 sorry, just figured it
