Gonna treat myself in the sales and curious to see which products others swear by that immediately give them a bit of a lift?

The one that always works for me is L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil.

Sneakily posting here for traffic.

Nail varnish. I have it in all colours, as well as glitter and metallic.
I'm not really bothered about the brand. I find pound land ones works just as well as the more expensive ones

DragonitesRule · 23/12/2016 23:05

Jo Malone bath oil in pomegranate noir...smells v decadent! DD (12) bless her heart had ordered me some with daddy's credit card (with his permission) but JL phoned him today to say it's out of stock! She's devastated and I am putting a brace face on!

wobblywonderwoman · 23/12/2016 23:06

Clarins hand and nail treatment

Curlyloveswine · 23/12/2016 23:08

Urban Decay Eye Shadow! I wear it nearly every day- to playgroup, work things, Tesco...I can be wearing old jeans and feel like death but doing a nice bit of smokey eye with this makes me feel more put together.

OhStuffingBalls · 23/12/2016 23:10

Aveda 'hand relief' hand cream (it is genuinely called that Grin...but smells divine and is super moisturising).

Elemis jasmine and rose milk bath

Neals Yard rose facial oil

Lovewineandchocs · 23/12/2016 23:14

Lancôme Rouge in Love Rose Nuance lipstick and La Vie est Belle perfume

RedBullBlood · 23/12/2016 23:15

Another for Clarins hand cream, it's superb. I also like Crabtree and Evelyn Summer Hill hand cream, smells gorgeous.
L'Occitane verbena shampoo.
And the one thing that will probably send me into insolvency - La Prairie Caviar Luxe face cream. Smells like heaven.

whyhastherumgone · 23/12/2016 23:15

Aw dragon hopefully you'll get it when it's back in stock. I am googling all of these now. I'm such a sucker for beauty products.

Curly I love UD aswell, have two of their Naked palettes and they've lasted for absolutely ages, such a good buy.

Aww I love nail varnish but I'm a nail chewer (gross I know!), now if anyone has a magical way to make my damn nails grow and be strong maybe I can actually wear nail varnish instead of just eyeing it up in the shops.

Seren85 · 23/12/2016 23:18

I buy lipsticks! In an attempt to stop spending an absolute fortune in Mac I have started buying NYX as a pick me up treat. I have been pleasantly surprised.

whyhastherumgone · 23/12/2016 23:20

Loving this thread already. DH is not going to like it so much when he sees what it does to our bank balance :D

A friend introduced me to NYX recently - their eyeliners are really good.

I've never tried Eve Lom but heard lots of good things about it.

Red carpet gel nails. Love love love this kit. My hands look so much better when nails are glossy and painted.

This Works in Transit Camera Close Up. I plan on getting some in the new year. Makes your skin all moisturized and glowy.

RubyWinterstorm · 25/12/2016 18:14

Jo Malone bath oil

The roses one

Such lovely stuff, gives me very soft, scented skin

Lasts for ages (don't need to use a lot)

Love it

EZA15 · 25/12/2016 19:04

Does the L'Occitane almond shower oil and bath oils not leave your skin feeling greasy? I've always wanted to try but too tight to spend money on something I might only use once!

glueandstick · 25/12/2016 19:28

Dr Haushka hand cream. I love it.

glueandstick · 25/12/2016 19:28

Dr hauschka even

jelly10 · 25/12/2016 19:45

EZA the almond shower oil is gorgeous - not greasy at all. It turns into a sort of milk on contact with water and leaves skin soft and smelling lovely. It's my favourite!

EZA15 · 25/12/2016 19:58

That sounds amazing jelly10

ChardonnayKnickertonSmythe · 25/12/2016 20:05

Some perfume.

LyingWitchInTheWardrobe2726 · 25/12/2016 20:12

No.7 Lift and Luminate, amazing stuff...

Babyhiccups · 25/12/2016 20:18

L'Occtiane shea butter hand cream. Lasts bloody ages.

Toni & Guy shampoo. Slightly more expensive but does lovely things to my hair.

Pancakeflipper · 25/12/2016 20:22

L'Civilians supple oil.

ChickenVindaloo2 · 25/12/2016 20:45

Loccitane shower oil thingy smells RANK. Horrible vile stuff. The Dove shower oil is much nicer and only £1.
