I know deep down that I shouldn't like "I Should Be So Lucky" by Kylie Minogue so much but it's just come on the radio and I've found myself dancing around to it. "Reach" by S Club 7 is another.

Maybe I'm just uncool.

What's your favourite?

The Safety Dance by Men Without Hats

Absolutely love this song!

mrswhiplington · 23/12/2016 19:47

Top of the World - The Carpenters. Like to think I'm accompanying Karen Carpenter's beautiful voice when singing along at the top of my voice.Grin

Agree with "Don't leave me this way" - Communards, fantastic dance song.

Bert2e · 23/12/2016 19:50

Tiffany - I think We're Alone Now!
I can't believe no one else has added it!!

BikeRunSki · 23/12/2016 19:51

I love Robbie Williams/Lilly Allen's version of "Dream a Little Dream of Me". I am an indie chick, with a lot of folk music thrown in. Bit of rock. Weaned on Genesis and Pink Floyd. Sickly sweet pop is so not me!

ClarissaDarling · 23/12/2016 19:53

I touch myself by the Devinyls.... I don't know about anybody else!!

MrsMattBomer · 23/12/2016 20:09

It's a total cliche but I blub right through Good Riddance by Green Day. It's alright except that I'm a teacher and it gets played every bloody year when the Year 11s leave. It's starting to get embarrassing now when I'm crying for the 17th year in a row...

Absolutely the 'Glory of Love' by Peter Cetera Grin

ELO are bloody fab so I am not remotely ashamed to admit my love of them.

I do have an embarrassing yen for very cheesy 90s pop tat though. I particularly like 'Santa Maria' by Sam Fox which reminds me of watching 'Queer as Folk' when it first aired. The song also reminds me of dancing in a wonderbra and hotpants on a podium in a gay club near where I used to live - a long time (and several stone) ago...

JenniferYellowHat1980 · 23/12/2016 20:12

I quite like David Guetta's Dangerous in the gym Blush

JenniferYellowHat1980 · 23/12/2016 20:12

I think I win.

PaulDacresConscience · 23/12/2016 20:12

Clarissa - no I bloody love that Divinyls track. It's fabulous.

friendlyflicka · 23/12/2016 20:14

You're so Vain by Carly Simon

I think that's where my love of Kylie comes from. Many a night spent on Canal Street dancing to her obscure 90s songs before we had kids!

Oh I missed Richard Marx - Hazard Smile

happychristmasbum · 23/12/2016 20:27

Good Riddance is a favourite as are many of these.

My really guilty embarrassing pleasure is Carly Rae Jepsen, "Call Me Maybe"
Grin

mrswhiplington · 23/12/2016 20:30

Forgot to mention You Got A Friend - James Taylor, or anything by James Taylor for that matter.

Jellymuffin · 23/12/2016 21:13

Lionel Richie - all night long. Reminds me of 90s package holidays with my parents!

blueshoes · 23/12/2016 21:18

Rock Me Amadeus - Falco
Nothing like a German rap ...

missyB1 · 23/12/2016 21:20

Never gonna give you up - Rick Astley
We've only just begun - The Carpenters.
I'm too sexy - Right said Fred

glitterazi · 23/12/2016 21:24

Shaking head here at all those saying they'd never admit in RL loving all these awesome songs.
Why? Own your cheese. Grin
I love loads of songs everyone else thinks is shite, and how much do I care?! None. That's how much. Grin
Only the tip of the iceberg with me but I love:

Chesney Hawkes - The One And Only
Tony Basil - Mickey
all early Kylie
all Jason Donovan songs
Bros - When Will I Be Famous
Brother Beyond - The Harder I Try
Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up
Black Lace songs Grin (Agadoo etc)
basically everything that other people weirdos think are crap

I didn't know this until spotify put together a playlist of my most listened to songs of 2016 and number 3 on my top songs was The Ketchup Song by Las Ketchup.

Number 5 on the list is also The Ketchup Song... but in Spanish Blush
