I know deep down that I shouldn't like "I Should Be So Lucky" by Kylie Minogue so much but it's just come on the radio and I've found myself dancing around to it. "Reach" by S Club 7 is another.

Maybe I'm just uncool.

What's your favourite?

Though, it has to be said, that I was a right muso wanker in my late teens and 'bad' music I didn't like could almost bring me to tears. This was essentially anything that wasn't the blues, 60s/70s soul, serious indie shit or, for light relief, the Happy Mondays.

These days - I hardly discriminate at all, so I may not be the best judge.

'Yes sir, I can boogie' by Baccara.

RebelandaStunner · 23/12/2016 12:20

Annies song by John Denver :-D

....I'll get my coat...

GirlOverboard · 23/12/2016 12:27

'Lipstick' by Jedward. I'm not ashamed though, it's a great pop song (as are most of their songs).

WhooooAmI24601 · 23/12/2016 12:32

I love anything by Mariah Carey from the 90's. Obviously I hide this fact from the rest of humanity but in the car on my own I howl like a rabid monkey at her albums. In summer I've been known to bring shame on my whole family with my open-window rendition of One Sweet Day.

MrsMattBomer · 23/12/2016 12:34

Hero by Enrique Iglesias is my go-to "Let's embarrass the kids in the car" song. I'm sorry but it's brilliant and Enrique is still sex-on-legs.

I wonder why by Curtis Stigers Blush

Dapplegrey1 · 23/12/2016 12:37

Schubert's Wedding Feast - because I like joining in the Gsch Gsch prrr prrr sounds. Only on my own, obviously!

GeorgiePeachie · 23/12/2016 12:47

So many people on this thread mentioning awesome power ballads which are only enjoyed in the privacy of their cars. If I listened to Don't stop me now or living on a prayer in the car I would be a) speeding. b) driving with my eyes closed c) crashing.

Forever in blue jeans, Neil Diamond.

Rasputin by Boney M

How is that a guilty pleasure?! Xmas Shock Boney M are awesome!!

Someone will be saying 'Fire' by Arthur Brown next......

Seren85 · 23/12/2016 13:26

Genuinely don't understand why GnR or Rainbow would ever be 'guilty pleasure' songs. I quite like 'History' by 1D despite being a rock/metal fan but I'm not particularly bothered. I listen to loads of big haired glam metal music too without any guilt whatsoever.

ohmygodyouguys · 23/12/2016 13:26

Most Steps songs. DH knows I was a huge fan. Still am truth be told but if I tried to listen to them in the car the CD would get chucked out the window.

Cagliostro · 23/12/2016 13:29

Rescue Me by Ultra. Pure cheese and one of the first singles I bought as a teen.

MrsJayy · 23/12/2016 13:29

Went to Steps reunion tour it was brilliant claire from steps wore a ball gown Grin

MrsMattBomer · 23/12/2016 13:58

I hate the fact that I quite like One Direction and fancy Harry Styles a bit. I know I shouldn't, seeing as I'm old enough to be his mum, but still.

Agree on Boney M being amazing. It's the fact that I quite like Bucks Fizz that I can't get over!

99 Red Balloons by Nena

TrustySnail · 23/12/2016 14:03

Robbie Williams - Rock DJ

Not normally my sort of thing at all - I was out with my sister, and (rather drunkenly) got up with her to dance to it - she was so amazed that she sent me the CD as a gift afterwards.

Liiinoo · 23/12/2016 14:04

Living on a Prayer and anything Jimmy Somerville sings are total classics and nothing to feel guilty about.

My favourite guilty pleasure OTOH is Don't Stop Movin by S Club 7, and I can only reveal it behind my MN cloak of anonymity.

MrsMattBomer · 23/12/2016 14:39

I'm going to introduce you all to the most cheesetastic guilty pleasure song ever:

If you're of a certain age you may remember doing the Slosh to this...

I have so very many
But "Guilty" by Barbra Streisand and Barry Gibb, Vanessa Paradis' "Joe le Taxi, and SisQ's "Thong Song" are probably the best/worst.
