It is thinner and more annoying than before, isn't it?

I have always bought the branded stuff for its superior robustness and ease of tearing, but I fear it is the latest thing to change....

I buy the supermarket stuff and use a dispenser so I don't lose the end, stops it splitting too, unless it is the really cheap pound shop stuff which disintegrates before your eyes.

I also use Scotch tape which is really weird stuff.

I think it tastes different too. Not that I am digesting it in large quantities you understand.
