To be worried about lack of pregnancy symptoms?

I'm 6 + 6 with my first baby at the age of 37. DH and I are so happy but I can't help worrying :( All the books and websites I have read state that I should be experiencing morning sickness by now, but I'm not at all! The only symptoms I have are tiredness and frequent trips to the loo. My breasts don't even seem to be growing that much :( can anyone advise me about whether this is something to be anxious about? I haven't had any scans yet and was planning to do so in the first week of January (I live abroad so the booking in system is a bit different). Help! I'm awake and anxious that there's something wrong with my baby :(

That could well be your pregnancy "NORM" but my pg that ended in missed m/c was the one where I just didn't really feel pregnant and no morning sickness.

& weeks is very early still though and lots of people if they are not actively ttc don't even know they're pregnant till way past 7 weeks.

Good luck with it all.

No, really, I had virtually no symptoms with DD3 apart from feeling slightly off if I ate eggs, and being sick once in the entire pregnancy at 22 weeks, and that was only because I'd left it too late to eat that day. Other than that, nothing. I didn't even find out till I was six weeks, as I wasn't 100% sure of my dates. I was sure at my scan that they'd tell me there'd been a mistake, and I wasn't pregnant after all. But there DD3 was. Try not to worry. Flowers

I didn't have any morning sickness with both my DC. You are still at that annoying early stage when you cant get regular scans/theres often not much going on symptoms wise/no movements to reassure you and no growing visible bump either. This stage does seriously drag but from 12+ weeks it starts going a lot quicker with so many new developments along the way to keep giving you reassurance things are progressing. Try to chill and enjoy christmas x

Not everyone gets sick or gets sick that early. I didn't that early as only tested at eight weeks and only got symptoms after I tested.

I was 37 too when pregnant with my first child. I also had very few pregnancy symptoms. I think I was sick once in the second trimester and that was it. I worried too but I am currently looking at a very robust and healthy almost 10 year old daughter. Chances are it'll be fine.

I didn't find out til I was 10 weeks and had zero symptoms before that. Nothing made me think I was pregnant other than lack of periods - wasn't surprised by a negative test at all after first missed period. I have had very little symptoms after either - it was making me anxious too but scans ease that feeling. I'm 21 weeks now and feeling a lot of kicking so all ok!!

It's still really early op, I didn't have any symptoms until about 12 weeks and even then was specific food related so I avoided those foods and continued with little or no symptoms throughout my pregnancy until the 3rd trimester where I got pre eclampsia.

Except tiredness and felt faint once but I was also over worked and under fed at the time.

Congratulations
