Chicken Pox - Quick advice

Posting here for traffic (sorry) & more of a WWYD.

I've got a 9 week old baby. Friend has said she will come over this afternoon with her 5 year old who has chicken pox. He got them a week or so ago. She said he's past the contagious stage - by this I'm guessing she means scabbed over as he's still spotty. I'd rather my baby not be around them at all but don't want to seem like the over dramatic, over protective mother if it is indeed safe... What would you do?

I told her I'd have to rearrange. I just wasn't happy taking an unnecessary risk. Thank you all for the feed back - I was so worried I'd come across as precious!

Who cares if you do come across as precious. Prioritizing your kids health over the feelings of adults is a sign of maturity, not precious-ness! Remember that if there us a next time. Better safe than sorry.
