Applications need to be in by January 2018 for my youngest child to gain a reception place but this will also mean by older son will need a year 3 place by this point
If younger gets our choice, it's easier to get in at year 3 than early years isn't it due to the ratio changing?
Feel bad as son happy at shool but we need a bigger house desperately

Yanbu. We were buying a new house and needed to switch schools. I got my yr 1 child in but not my yr 4 child. Once we actually exchanged I appealed, didn't even get as far as the actual appeal as they gave my yr 4 child a space once our new address was confirmed.
