To wonder what it's like to have your partner at the work Christmas party?!

I have had the same career for many years and due to our large staff team, partners are not allowed at the work Christmas party as it would be too big.

I have never experienced a work Christmas party with a partner and wondered what it is like. Do you feel having your partner there makes the party better or would you rather he/she was not there? Just curious

Well I work with mine... and my dad. The dh bit is nice, but he's usually propping up the bar talking shop with one of his mates, whereas I try to use the opportunity to chat to colleagues off duty and see people from work that I don't normally get to speak to.
