basically my daughter loves this show, to the point we are all assigned a character at least four times per episode, what annoys me is it can be daytime and they find a crime, then it becomes night and they fight crime etc do they make it night? or do they wait til the night to fight crime? if its the latter why are the criminals still around?

Ha ha. I feel your pain. How did they even get their powers?

Anyway, the ling and short is the notice the crimes, wait until bedtime then resolve it. Along with some helpful lesson about being patient, nice to our friends, gentle to butterflies etc.

WheresLarry · 11/12/2016 17:52

The most I got from my 4 year old dd is that the special watches give them their superpower's but she doesn't know where the watches came from.

Peopleplease · 11/12/2016 18:17

Plus are they getting any sleep??

QwertyKeyboard · 11/12/2016 18:41

And where are their parents?!

Pilgit · 11/12/2016 18:47

Rationalising children's TV shows is an exercise in futility. It makes no sense - embrace it don't question it as the answers will not give you any satisfaction or explanation.

Afo · 11/12/2016 18:52

Yes where are their parents? My 5 year old right now is sitting in his home made cat car with his 2 year old brother "ghekko" in the back!

RandomDent · 11/12/2016 18:56

Bizarrely, my 3 year old has just asked me the same question.

SVJAA · 11/12/2016 19:00

What really winds me up about PJ Masks is the lack of costumes. DD (3) was desperate to dress up as Owlette for Halloween but couldn't find a costume anywhere. Well, one from America but I'm not paying £60 + £20 postage for a sodding Halloween costume!

Sol1dGoldCunt · 11/12/2016 19:00

The pjs give them their powers. There's an episode where two of them are seen as being no good without their pjs to give them powers.

Apparently the villains are free to do whatever in the daytime as the pj masks have to wait until night.

I'm just off to find a life BRB Blush

ExhaustedandScatterBrained · 11/12/2016 19:09

Coz bedtime is the right time to fight crime, i cant think of a rhyme!

Yup it the pjs that give them their powers.

I want to know how to become a ninjalino

Imavinoops · 11/12/2016 19:20

We can't work out whether all the villains are other kids in their school or if they are kids in another school...

OR are they just full time villains?! If that's the case, why are their parents allowing it! Surely the schools should be on the phone to them about all the school they are missing during the day...

Maybe we just need to keep watching it more often.

Afo · 11/12/2016 19:28

I never knew that the pj part of pj masks was to do with pyjamas! !!

Psychomumsucks · 11/12/2016 19:28

There are just so many questions and not enough answers! I really need a life lol.

My DC's seem to think their powers are in the pj's. I want to know who's funding the whole set up?

Sol1dGoldCunt · 11/12/2016 19:42
Grin

DH wants to know who gave them the pjs and whether they've had any formal training. He's also very concerned about their lack of quality sleep.

I want a ninjalino

FudgeyCookie · 11/12/2016 21:10

Dd loves pj masks. She can mostly be found running around the house shouting about her super cat speed Hmm

Or, you can ask her to hold your hand and she will proceed to show you her super lizard grip...

Moana123 · 11/12/2016 21:20

My kids are loving this show too!

Have you seen how much the toys are selling for on eBay... in excess of £100 for the figures and cars... crazy!

Milkand2sugarsplease · 11/12/2016 21:34

YABU on 2 counts -

  1. Trying to make sense of children's tv without the use of illegal substances and
  2. I've now got the bloody theme tune in my head!!!!

RUDE!! Grin

WeeWaspie · 11/12/2016 22:40

Ugh I hate PJ masks so much. DH believes watching it will cause DS to think he can start running around fighting crime at bedtime (calm down dear, he's only 10 months)

Whilst searching for some PJ masks clarity on Google (specifically Amaya's name spelling because Connor is Cat boy, Greg is Gecko, why couldn't the find an O name?) I found the ultimate icky PJ Masks fan fiction - there are some disturbed people out there even if they did increase the ages!

PRBunny · 11/12/2016 23:00

SVJAA There are versions of the PJ Masks costumes on eBay that don't cost a fortune. I had been considering one for my DS for a school superhero party.

The toys on the other hand are going for crazy prices. They are a new toy line that have been introduced into the US market this autumn.

I am lucky enough to have a BIL that lives in the States and has bought the toys for my son. He will be the No.1 Uncle this Christmas!

SVJAA · 12/12/2016 06:34

PRBunny thanks! I haven't looked lately, and my BIL lives in the States so I might ask if he'd be super uncle too Grin

Psychomumsucks · 12/12/2016 19:32

She hasn't ask for anything yet, her imagination seems to be enough.. for now. Agree with wanting a ninjalino they are so cute and could do my housework lol
