Tip or not to tip

I will apologise In advice because this is the ultimate first world problem.

I have just been

spectacularly shamed for not leaving a tip after having my eyebrows threaded. I pay £20 to get them done which I think is pretty damn pricey to begin with.

At the end I thanked the women and payed. She asked me if I thought she did a good job? I said yes and she asked where her tip was. She went on to say if I didn't tip I wouldn't be welcome back again.

This all seems a little harsh. Do we tip our eyebrow ladies now? Have I been completely unreasonable and broken a secret rule? And how much is the right amount.
£1-3 seems an insult but anymore seems crazy!

Sorry this must be the Dullest AIBU to date. I just hate the idea of offending anyone!

I pay £8 to have mine done in the local shopping centre and that's well above average for the area as there are people nearby that will do it for less than a fiver. £20 is extortionate. You could get everything threaded here for £20.

YANBU for not tipping. Why would you?
