It should be possible to get an iPhone SE (very old phone now) with 5gb data, for less than £30. And yet you can't!

AIBU to think that mobile phone contracts are actually getting more, not less, expensive?

And as for this newfangled "RPI price rise every March" what a load of....

Actually I lie it wasn't sim only, I got a Sony xperia z with it but have since bought another phone outright

and rooting the handset to ensure no bloatware.

The problem with that, is that some BYOD/MDM suites ("Good" for a start) can be set to refuse to run on rooted devices. Certainly where I work. So if you are choosing a device you need (or want) to use for work, you need one that isn't rooted.
