Air bnb

Don't know if I'm on the right part of mum's net. All a bit overwhelming!!! Question is, does anyone airbnb a room in their house? Is it financially worth it? We are in south London, lovely house, super quick into centre etc. V much want to hear all views.

I have a villa in Southern Spain that we have on air bandb.
It works well for us, min 3 nights or 7 nights in summer. The good thing is the feedback. We also leave feedback for our guests that other owners only can see.
for instance if they were disrespectful other owners can decide not to accept their booking without having to explain why. I have turned down guests that have had negative feedback from other owners.
