To throw mysel a pity party (mother dearest forgot my birthday)

I am not specially big on birthdays. I. Always thankful for gifts but not expecting anything. But the bare minimum I expect is my mother aknowledge my birthday. Even a text would be enough.

She sent me an email with todays date in it. She still didn't mention my birthday. We don"t live in the same country so she isn't planning to surprise me later.

I am going through a bit of a hard time and I feel quite low right now.

But maybe I'm just expecting too much and adults don't need to fuss about their birthdays?

Happy Birthday Bunny

No shame in having a pity party as long as it involves cake and gin

Flowers Wine Cake

Happy birthday bunny!

I often feel better after a good old wallow. Go for it!

If it makes you feel any better my mum rarely remembers my birthday; in her defence it is on a particularly shit day of the year for a celebration.

Happy birthday! Here's some Wine Cake Flowers Chocolate for the pity party. I find I cheer up once I've announced that I'm having a pity party. Hope you do too. Xmas Smile

Happy Birthday to you!

It's a bobber when people forget, especially those who are meant to remember. Me and my Ma once forgot step-Dad's birthday, or rather we just got the wrong day of the week. He was mightly upset for sure and we were almost too embarrased to fix it.
