I'm not talking periods.

I haven't even made the list of what i've got to buy. OMG, I'm insane. There are nephews and nieces. How on earth is this going to come together by 25/12??????? Please help me feel better! I'm feeling completely sick. AND can't start tomorrow as won't have a single second. I've screwed everyone's christmas, and it's all my fault.

Why am I even on MN instead of writing christmas cards????

Done and wrapped but only because I'm going away for two weeks before xmas.
It's why I really don't like christmas over much because of the stress.
I decided a few years back that I would take everyone ( all 12 of us) to the Christmas panto to make it easier for myself.
Then I thought I'd get them little openers as well so I found myself back to square one.
I'm my own worst enemy .

I've just finished doing all of this. That's most of the gifts. For a few more to buy and I'm done

Make a list of everyone you're buying for and write gift ideas beside their names then get yourself onto amazon. Don't bother with Christmas cards except for immediate family, no one will even notice.

I did that KayTee last year and it changed my life (drastic.). I do a spreadsheet! I can put the name, budget, ideas, presents bought, budget left etc! I'm not normally so anal but it really takes the stress out of it for me, otherwise I end up with loads of presents for one person and none for another!

A good suggestion lego re national book tokens

They spread the risk nicely and books are always enjoyable to search out in the NY after the excitement of Christmas has passed

Mine are all wrappedGrin

I have four children, a granddaughter as well as extended family. I never ever start before the 15th December and have more than once done the lot in three days flat. It wouldn't feel at all like Christmas if I wasn't running round like a headless chicken, frantically buying, wrapping, cleaning, cooking etc etc. All great fun.
However, I don't like perfection. It makes me itch. If you are the sort that l likes to have everything just so, then you best get cracking!
