Dh hates it and wants me to wear earphones, but I watch them to drift off to sleep and earphones irritate me.

He doesn't mind the ones with music but he doesn't like it when you can hear what's being done to people.

I just find it really relaxing, and it helps me to sleep. I think it's like a primal release when all the stuff eventually comes out!

Dh says it's gross and I need to get a new hobby. I think me and eleventy billion viewers per video can't all be wrong.

OMFG. I have never heard of this weirdness before but the thought of anybody watching pus popping out of pimples for the pleasure of it is completely and utterly beyond me. Well I never, people think it's weird? I can see not enjoying it but if I start watching I can't stop. I wouldn't use it to help me sleep though, I'd be up all night clicking on the next one. Now off to see if I can find a good ear wax removal....

I think it is very selfish to watch any sort of video in bed, when you know it pisses off the person you are sharing the bed with. I think that, if you can't use headphones, you shouldn't be watching videos in bed.

Also, it is very bad for your sleep patterns to watch screens in bed before trying to fall asleep. The blue light from them screws up your brainwaves and makes your has a negative effect on your sleep patterns - and if you are watching screens, that blue light can affect the other person in the bed too.

Grabthars -I know from your other thread that you are battling other serious issues at the moment, and I would suggest it would be beneficial for you to make your life as healthy as possible - diet, exercise and sleep - and it is bad for your sleep to watch videos in bed. You need good quality, refreshing sleep more than ever, right now. Look after yourself.

OMG I had to get far down the thread to figure out what sporn is.
So, do I get this right, you go to bed and watch randoms squeezing pimples, blackheads and boils?
Each to their own- I get that - but why is it nice and fun to watch at bedtime?

I think this belongs in Relationships more than Sporners' Corner. The issue here is the OP wanting to watch videos in bed without headphones, and her dh objecting to being disturbed by the noise - the content of the video is pretty irrelevant.

Ear wax ones are strangely satisfying. My husband has amazing ear wax thinking of starting my own channel! And I understand OP chat is more understanding than aibu about this kind of thing!
