To put this message in a Christmas card

Back story I have 3 dcs 2 with my dh one I had before dh. Dh sees all 3 dcs has his own and treats them very much the same.

Now every year a certain member of his family send presents money and cards to dc 2 and 3 never any mention of dc 1. Now dc1 is 12 and has autism and very much gets upset by this. I try to hide but it's kind of hard to do so. I was thinking of writing in family members card that could they please just a least include dc1s name in the card as he he has autism and has a horrible time trying to understand why they see him different to the other dcs. Would this be wrong?

If she's been like this all his life, she's not going to change. Intercept the card and either chuck it in the bin or add child's name. Split money equally.

Don't acknowledge gift. If she asks why she doesn't get a thank you acknowledgement, tell her you've returned her card to sender. Someone must've opened it and nicked her money, you can shrug. Maybe she will then wrongly distrust the mail service and stop sending money. Next year, you can just chuck the card altogether.

Oh it's so hurtful isn't it? My exMiL tried to do this with my exBiL's step son. The sad thing was that everybody went along with it, except me
