To think if you're the only one not invited to a group event then you're not considered a friend?

Just seen on Facebook there was a baby shower yesterday. I was the only one out of the entire friendship group that wasn't invited.

I'm not fussed in terms of I don't ever really enjoy those kind of things and I just do it because that person is my friend.

But I think that's quite a statement to make in terms of purposely excluding someone.

Have you made it clear that you don't enjoy those kind of things to those around you?

if friends know you don't like that stuff they aren't going to ask are they ? if you've never said then that's different...

Waanderlust · 04/12/2016 11:42

No of course I've never said that.

Regardless of wether you enjoy them or not you should have been invited, do you know who arranged it? Maybe someone who doesn't know you as well as the rest?

TheStoic · 04/12/2016 11:43

I think that would be a fair assumption to make.

I don't blame you for wondering why you weren't invited. Has there been any upset amongst you all? Usually baby showers are the more the merrier.
I'd ask.
