On the Second Day of Advent My Mother Gave to me... Paranoia!

It's that time of year again when we get to secretly give our dc those special treats that we would never be so frivolous as to supply. Under the anonymity of a man in a red suit we grant a few wishes and watch with the warm and fuzzies as our dc light up on Christmas morning... right?

Well, today I heard something that made my stomach wobble and nearly cause me to drop my botox-esque school gate mummy smile and nod.

One mother was proudly announcing to all who had no choice but to would listen that she had told her dc that Santa was watching them all the time, from the cameras in EVERY lightbulbs and he would know if they were bad and wouldn't bring any gifts.

She obviously thought she was so clever. AIBU to think she has totally missed the point of St Nicholas?

Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas and a Paranoid New Year!

It's like elf on the shelf but more hi tech

Yes! I can almost but not quite forgive the eots sheeples, as it's mainstream produced and consumed.

But this is just odd. She had to burn brain calories to come up with this plan. It seems really callous.
