YANBU, I purposefully buy myself the odd thing I know my household hates, just so I know if I fancy a treat I won't go to the fridge/freezer/cupboard and find a packet with nothing inside but disappointment.

I wish no one else in my house liked magnum almonds. Then I wouldn't have to hide them under the veg in the freezer

I do this with Reece's cups ... then my son "decided" he liked them after hating them for years

My mother used to put a pack of sticky dates (yuck yuck yuck ) in our Xmas stockings every year and every year when we complained that Father Xmas had given us the bloody things again she'd say, in a very surprised voice, "oooh don't you like them? I love them". Huh!

Anything with almonds in it is mine in this house! Hell even my local cafe nero ask if I want an almond croissant with my coffee when I go in (although right now I am obsessing over their gingerbread cream filled muffins, pure heaven!)

Thankfully my kids dont really like the taste except in bakewell tarts!

I always get an almond magnum for myself and get the kids one they like so I know it will still be there and not nicked by the next day!

So tonight ds1 decides he likes almond magnums found half of it in the bin ! What else can I get that dc will hate ?
