Permitted parking round here, very few off-street spaces as it's mostly terraces. Sometimes impossible to park and I end up a few streets away. Fine, I can walk easily and I just accept that sometimes I will have to do so.

But our neighbours are just taking the piss! This is their solution to not being able to park outside their house all the time - obviously they think it's their right

WIBU to melt their bins down and remould them into car shapes? Any other ideas?! I've just moved them as I actually needed to park, but it keeps happening!

Yeah don't store them yourself. Just take them elsewhere

OP they'd love my Aunt. She's got balls of steel and moves bins off the road that are 'saving' parking spaces.

I'd also contact highways as I'm sure that's classed as an obstruction.

Hissy People get ridiculously precious over car parking I've found. We have our own version of a stagecoach car park outside as we and the neighbours are the only two houses without a driveway. The people in the cul de sac further down the road park their workvans and minibuses outside ours. I had to have paramedics out the other week who had no choice but to temporarily park across someone's drive at 5am. The man came out and started being abusive to the poor paramedics

Anyone starts putting cones or bins in spaces to save them here will find said cone shoved up one of their orifices
Where do they get the cones from anyway? Surely they're stealing them in the first place or can you order them online?
