Especially as plain rice with ketchup isn't exactly filling.

For what it's worth, a lot of people don't like seafood so paella is a bit tricky. IME so is lamb, but realistically there's loads of other options.

Disclaimer- I'll happily eat both but peppers make me heave.

happypoobum · 26/11/2016 22:32

OP is back!!!!!!

Paella with stuff is my favourite - YANBU

happypoobum · 26/11/2016 22:33

Sorry - pealla

Bluntness100 · 26/11/2016 22:33

Paella isn't offensive, he's telling uou he has gastro problems with anything other than plain rice. I personally wouldn't have an issue with that.

80schild · 26/11/2016 22:35

Simpler solution - go out for lunch next time.

Thefishewife · 26/11/2016 22:36

He dosent have gastro issues he's being a dick

This thread is a great example of why MN gets called a pack of vipers.

Some people on this thread have been outrageously rude to the OP because of spelling and grammer ffs

happypoobum · 26/11/2016 22:40

Demented It's a nest of vipers. Thank you......

Octoberrat · 26/11/2016 22:41

Tinkiiev has been about again. Mark my words.

I must have been a teacher too long - the spelling/grammar/punctuation issues that have inspired the vast bulk of the replies didn't even register with me and the post made total sense. I must be used to just sub consciously substituting the intended word and mentally adding punctuation.

I now feel silly for replying so seriously - pressed submit before I'd even read all the jokey replies.

Have to say though - it makes me feel like crying every time someone says an adult fussy eater pisses them off or that they have no time for one. It's hardly a choice. For some people, it might be equally true to internally feel that people with depression, autism or anxiety etc piss you off and aren't people you'd want to spend time around. But nobody (nice) would ever say that. But food and eating issues seem to be fair game.

This thread reads as being a lot bitchy.

Jenijena · 27/11/2016 03:35

Oh pinkie that sounds terrifying. Could you/us it anything you've ever felt you could seek help with?

oP, YANBU. Invited a family for a meal a few weeks ago; between the three of them they are very fussy (any individually is ok, but one eats what the other two don't, etc...), and they said 'you may not want us' but... we found something and it worked.

BuntyFigglesworthSpiffington · 27/11/2016 03:36

'That post is like the ones where if you can decider it upside down or with words jumbled up - your a genius'

Oh dear.

I think you meant 'you're'?
