I am so sorry to use the 'C' word in November, but I'm time critical. AIBU to think if you're going out to a restaurant for the meal you should get dressed up ? How dressed up ? Party dress or what ? It's a naice restaurant btw. (I need to buy an outfit if you do - hence it being time critical)

Lunch time, I would go for either sparkly top or bottom (not full outfit), or a smart-ish dress or trouser/top combo with a blingy necklace.

Always good heels (mine will be silver this year - just have to decide on the rest of my outfit).

Yes, a bit dressy is nice at Christmas time. Something a bit sparkly, perhaps sparkly too with a skirt or trousers or a nice dress. Doesn't have to be majorly dressy, being lunch time.
