Not the bin men christmas box request you used to get :) does anyone remember them knocking on the door for their christmas box? :)

I have 2 toys I've bought for my children and just found out grandparents have bought same toys, rather than get a refund I want to donate in one of those christmas boxes or charities that collect toys at christmas - Can anyone recommend a charity?

Posting here for traffic. Thanks.

Our local food bank and women's refuge both take toys as Christmas gifts.

Several police forces are doing schemes where they collect gifts for local kids. In the greater Edinburgh area, there's also Cash For Kids collection boxes for toys in many shops.

Our local radio station run a toy appeal and have collection points all over, maybe see if yours does something similar.
