Tomorrow night me and DH are due to leave our DD overnight with my parents for the first time ever (she is 2, we don't get out much!!) for a friends 35th birthday.

The party has been cancelled, but we were really looking forward to some alone time.

Would it be really sneaky to not tell anyone and just have a night in on our own and a lie in in the morning?

We REALLY want to, but feel so guilty. Someone tell me we are not awful people and we should do it!?!?

My folks actually gave us some money to go out when friends cancelled on us just so they could have DS overnight one time. Do it!
