I know the dr in the hospital said if I have any problems regarding the stitches even if it seems like I will be wasting her time I've just to call that is what they are therefore so if I can't get an appointment on Friday for stitches removal i will give the department a call at hospital and see if they will do it which bugs me because there is sick children needing attended to and I'm taking up space for something a surgery nurse could do but refuses too.

People who use a landline seem to get through quicker than those with a mobile. It could be no std code is
needed and they have a redial button. Ring back doesn't always get accepted.

Can't fault ours, but we are rural and the GP partners have a quality of life philosophy so all of them work 3 or 4 days per week.
We have online appointments, we have helpful receptionists, they run every type of clinic you could wish for and their GP registrars are allocated 20 min appointment slots so they have time to spend with you ( and all the partners and qualified GPs have 15 min appointments)
I have an ongoing health issue which sometimes requires complicated and urgent treatment and my main GP is simply exceptional.
We read up on them before we chose the surgery, and visited as well so we could make the best decision, and we feel exceptionally well cared for. The downside is the hospitals are dire and getting worse. But that's another story and you can't have everything.

For the first time in about 15 years I am happy with our GPS. It's a very small practice, in fact it's a branch surgery of a bigger practice a few miles away. When we moved I chose it purely on the fact that it looked easier to park in than the multi doctor surgery across the way.

DP has a problem and phoned at 8am this morning. Appointment for 11am.

Have always got a same day appointment for dcs. Have 2 doctors (1 female) who work set days. I can even ring the surgery for repeat prescriptions.
