So what you mean is, you can spend your Christmas vouchers in Argos, just not on the things you would like. In fact even if you had cash, you still couldn't spend it in Argos on those things becuause they haven't got any!

This is not exclusive to christmas. I find that whenever argos have something on offer that i want they never have it in stock and then when the offer finishes surprise surprise its back in stock again.

Does supermarket take the vouchers, because if so why not use the cash you would have used for shopping on the gifts and then use the voucher for shopping

Argos are crap they never have anything in stock as i found last yr when trying to buy a load of two toys for £15

Argos have plenty of form for putting items on heavily advertised offers that are out of stock and unobtainable. I'm sure they've been on Watchdog for it before.
