To think the sun doesn't shine out of Jeremy Clarkson £#@*?

So he's an adulterous, racist, abusive arse man who my male family are glued to on Amazon Prime. WIBU to remind them of his shortcomings and to wonder how in the fuck the narcissistic pig presenter persuaded Amazon to back him?

Funny isn't it, I also have a friend at the BBC who claims the guy clarkson hit was brought in to goad and cause clarkson to walk as the BBC were beginning to see him as a liability. I think it backfired spectacularly and btw my family all loved the Grand Tour.

ghostyslovesheets · 20/11/2016 19:39

the 'guy' had worked on TG for a while - he wasn't new! he started as production coordinator and worked his way up to producer

I don't think calling anyone an 'lazy Irish cunt' is defensible

BitchQueen90 · 20/11/2016 19:42

I can't stand Clarkson, I think he's an arrogant racist arsehole. Meh.

missyB1 · 20/11/2016 19:42

Can't stand the racist arrogant loudmouth, I wouldn't watch any program with him on as a matter of principle.

Sparklingbrook · 20/11/2016 19:43

I don't have a friend at the BBC. Sad Grin

BuntyFigglesworthSpiffington · 20/11/2016 19:47

He's supremely annoying but not as annoying as his teeny weeny sidekick. Can't stand that pipsqueak. I'm indifferent to the one who wears the floral shirts.

But Clarkson is for the most part avoidable, apart from those bloody Amazon TV ads. I wish those ads would fuck right off.

exLtEveDallas · 20/11/2016 19:50

Nor me Sparkling Sad I have met JC and the gang though. JC and RH were loads of fun (and v supportive of the Forces), JM more reserved but good at making people squirm.

winewolfhowls · 20/11/2016 19:51

I think they were good but it's all a bit try too try hard sad daddish now

lljkk · 20/11/2016 19:53

Clarkson has said some things I can support, but then I suppose, even a broken clock is right twice a day.

I don't understand the BBC (radio) talking so much about Clarkson's new show. I don't wish the man ill but who gives a F. Since when does BBC gush so much about non-BBC tv.

I know it's easy to say "Oh well he's just an entertainer..." and then the entertainer runs for president. (Sigh) I am more wary now.

Sparklingbrook · 20/11/2016 19:55

Envy Eve. JC replied to a letter that DS1 sent to him when he was about ten IIRC. He was very chuffed.

IEatCannibals · 20/11/2016 19:56

He's not that bad, he punched Piers Morgan once. Grin

Pluto30 · 20/11/2016 19:56

Doesn't bother me at all.

But I've never had a problem being able to separate the person from their work. I can appreciate a person's work without necessarily thinking "the sun shines out of their ass".

But I don't mind Jeremy Clarkson. Or the other Top Gear presenters.

Capricorn76 · 20/11/2016 19:56

That sychophant Richard Hammond with his stupid purposely messy hair and holiday necklace is even more annoying. Can't stand him.

Twogoats · 20/11/2016 19:57

I would... Blush

exLtEveDallas · 20/11/2016 19:57

Cannibals Grin
Oh yes, anyone who punches Piers gets a free pass in my house!

PleaseNotTrump · 20/11/2016 19:58

Sorry Livia. ARSE

OP posts:
Sparklingbrook · 20/11/2016 19:58

Oh now I am all conflicted because I quite like Piers on GMB. Blush

DonaldStott · 20/11/2016 19:59

Blokes. Being blokey blokes. Yeahhhhh. We're blokes us. The p.c brigade can just piss off. We're just bein blokes.

Fucking idiots. I would LTB if dh found clarkson and his blokey mates, entertaining.

Sparklingbrook · 20/11/2016 20:00

Confused Donald

EdmundCleverClogs · 20/11/2016 20:03

He's a relic from the 70s, Hammond is a weasly little arse-licker and someone I know said May was very rude about/to Welsh people. They remind people of 'the good old days, where you could say and do as you please harharhar', it's just sad. Each to their own though, as previously said, they are even easier to avoid these days!

One thing that does get me cross is the assault incident. It made me very angry at the time that poor producer got so much shit for daring to 'provoke' JC into punching him Hmm. If he'd attacked a female producer, no one on here would ever defend him/watch his shows again, but it's ok to hit another guy obviously. The sad thing is, he's now free to influence another generation of young lads, showing that the biggest bullies always get their way eventually.

Costacoffeeplease · 20/11/2016 20:12

Absolutely donald and edmund

Just 'avin' a larff, bantz innit - twats

PleaseNotTrump · 20/11/2016 20:17

Exactly Edmund, that's what pisses me off. I like watching it too, but he's shown you can be an arrogant, abusive twunt and do well out of it. What with everything else going on, would rather I was pointing my children in the direction of someone a bit more inspirational.

IEatCannibals · 20/11/2016 21:08

He's gone down in my estimation since last week's German airport and the Argentinan worker who was actually Spanish incident.

He could have lost that bloke his job and it sounds like he was making it all up because firstly he was cross the bloke quite rightly wouldn't let him on the plane when he was late and secondly I suspect it was to get in the papers with a new show coming up.

Horsegirl1 · 20/11/2016 21:11

I think he is a great presenter. Love his adverts

IEatCannibals · 20/11/2016 21:11

here

I must confess I do have a bit of a thing about James May and his floppy hair.
