curious about deleted threads, do they ever reappear ?

title says it all really, i understand that some are trolling and some are deleted for privacy [?], but what about the ones that are 'being looked into' ? are any reinstated if they are found to be ok after all ?
does anyone know [without being specific to the contents of the thread] ?

I was genuine, they gave me my account back but wouldn't put the thread back up due to the amount of reports... So if it's a subject that gets lots of reports, they won't either.
