AIBU to think that the couple in the above story weren't really punished for their animal cruelty?
After causing severe neglect on many animals which caused the deaths of many puppies and selling ill animals for money, a ban on keeping animals for life, a suspended sentence and a tiny fine is not really a punishment? The fine between them is much less than the money they made, the ban on keeping animals is hard to enforce and the suspended sentence is meaningless. I bet they laughed all the way home.
