LOL! No, PB is a friend! She chose this name so that I would spot her easily!

Can't believe she didn't even bother to contact you & let you know that she was letting you down again. I'm sorry she has upset you like this though. I feel pretty angry with her on your behalf.
Blimmin families eh?!

And no you are not over reacting - I would feel the same in your position.

I know nothing as this is clearly private, but I hate people being let down and feeling cr*ppy, so I am and with you

think i sort of know what this is about, and i am really sad for you, if it refers to the thread re the sis and the weekend?

I don't think it's private, FS - it's just PB spoke to me earlier about this & is feeling pretty crappy. She really hoped to see her sister & her DD's were so excited about meeting their cousin.

Of course you don't have mug written across your forehead, PB, you were just really hopeful that she wasn't going to let you down again & sadly that's what's happened.

Oh right - so she is still making out she may still embrace you with her presence!
Just don't pin too much hope on it - you have been let down so much in the past, haven't you?

Is your DH home?

Report

Flamesparrow · 13/02/2007 22:38

Oh no Having had situations of always raising my hopes for it all to be let down, I know the horribleness you are feeling - the bitter with them, the feeling stupid with yourself for trusting again.

Just lots of hugs really

lulumama · 13/02/2007 22:38

she didn;t even let you know !

you are too nice, which is not the same as being a mug...and giving the benefit of the doubt

maybe make some arrangements, then go away for the weekend, and show her how it feels to be treated so casually
