If you went to a supermarket cafe at the same time of the same day every week and saw the same person every time would you..

A-assume they were stalking you
B- assume they do their shopping/visit cafe on that day aswell.

NoCapes · 16/11/2016 19:37

Confused B of course

228agreenend · 16/11/2016 19:38

B - as people are creatures of habit.

If you feel threatened by this person, change your supermarket cafe time.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 16/11/2016 19:38

B

CaesiumTime · 16/11/2016 19:38

C. Worry that they think I am stalking them. Smile

happystory · 16/11/2016 19:39

They might wonder the same about you !

TiredAndDeadly · 16/11/2016 19:39

B

Unless option C is that you're stalking them?

In that case-option C

RichardBucket · 16/11/2016 19:40

Since I have social anxiety:

D) Think I need to leave the country to make sure I never see them again and they can't accuse me of stalking or, even worse, make eye contact.

Grin

On a good day... B!

Patriciathestripper1 · 16/11/2016 19:40

Option c you stalker

leaveittothediva · 16/11/2016 19:45

No you are just both weirdos. Only joking. It's funny though. GrinGrinGrin

KayTee87 · 16/11/2016 19:47

I'm in my own wee bubble most of the time so probably wouldn't notice but if I did I would think option B

teacher54321 · 16/11/2016 19:49

When I was freelance I used to have the same gaps in the same places every week, so on a Monday I would go to a particular Starbucks and wait for my next appt with a cup of tea and on a Tuesday I would have a Tesco cafe fry up etc etc. It ran like clockwork in term time, Anything to stop me sitting bored in the car on my own!

RichardBucket · 16/11/2016 19:55

When my friend and I walked to secondary school we would always see the same man in a suit walking towards the train station (presumably). Same time, same part of the road, every day. We called him Alarm Clock. Smile

peachesandcreamdream · 16/11/2016 19:56

B.

Option A would lead me to believe I was utterly self obsessed thinking anyone doing their weekly shop was interested in me.

Whatthefreakinwhatnow · 16/11/2016 19:57

Only a self-absorbed person.would think A.

badabing36 · 16/11/2016 20:07

Why would you think a?

Do they come up and talk to you? Look excited when you arrive. Sit near to you and look like they're listening to your conversation (if you go with someone else)? Wait for you to go to the counter or sit down before they do? Follow you into the car park I accidentally?

If those things happen then yes, a. Otherwise I would think b or c. I tend to get very on edge by awkward stuff like seeing someone everyday that I don't know, so I try to have 2/3 regular cafes to flit between.

Katy07 · 16/11/2016 20:17

Or E try and remember to smile & eventually, after 12 months or so of smiling manage to exchange a hello!

formerbabe · 16/11/2016 20:21

B...I used to go to a supermarket cafe everyday at the same time...long story but I had to be somewhere each day at a certain time...to avoid traffic, I was always early so would get a coffee in the café. I wasn't stalking anyone!
