I think we've all had a shitty day and thought we should make a thread of some of your favourite/best things. For example one of mine is:

Putting brand new bedding on your bed to sleep in

Sitting on the sofa with my cat on my lap and my boyfriend stroking my feet.

Starting a book that you love, snuggled into a fluffy blanket .

Snuggling under a blanket on the settee with happy DS watching tolerable kids TV and being told I'm his best friend.

Sitting next to my coal fire with a cup of tea, DD in bed asleep. TV on in background and reading mn posts....

Giving my sister's cat belly rubs (he's so floofy!)
Bubble baths!

My 1 year old has started walking. It's adorable.

Putting on new underwear (especially if it's a good fitting bra)
I always buy a new pack of knickers for going on holiday

work finally agreed my increase in hours (temporarily) to cover my colleague who left until they replace her - she was full time - I was working 20hrs and trying to do our work - I might not have a breakdown now!

When random dogs in the park come over for a fuss. They can apparently sense my dog-broodiness

My DS 17 used to volunteer, helping old people with their shopping he had to give it up because he got a part time job. Today we saw one of his favourite older ladies and I was so proud of him chatting to her holding her hand it was lovely

Falling asleep with the cat curled up snoring next to me.

When the chef in the canteen at work makes her homemade flapjacks.

Ooh, when I take my 2 year old out of the bath and wrap him.in a too big towel and he shuffles across the landing to the bedroom. He looks so cute and funny i want to preserve the moment forever!

Puglife mine too! I love taking her to the park and watching her fall over, giggle and bounce back up again.

Today I ordered some new boots as my old favourites are letting in water on the soles. Ummed and aahed over paying for next day delivery, decided against it. Had an email later on saying they would be delivered tomorrow anyway! So, new boots yay AND money saving yay!

We're really lucky with deliveries round here. Postie got an eyeful too many times when I struggled to the door with breastfeeding baby, so he now just chucks parcels into the porch for me. Hermes lady is really nice, and very reliable which seems very rare from everything I've read about them! DPD are brilliant too, I love how you can track them so you don't have to stay in all day.
