Not exactly a new user but are threads just being deleted because they dont like what they are being told? One in question the tongue piercing of the 12yr old?? No identifiable features there but still deleted, makes a bit of a joke of the whole thing really.

OP posts:
hobnobsaremyfavourite · 07/11/2016 21:25

Agree
It's almost a joke now
Pathetic

brummiesue · 07/11/2016 21:26

Glad im not the only one, deleting the piercing one has really pissed me off!

OP posts:
KayTee87 · 07/11/2016 21:27

I couldn't believe it when that thread was deleted.

As this is a thread about a thread you can expect this to be deleted soon too btw.

brummiesue · 07/11/2016 21:30

Ha ha will make the whole thing even more of a joke then Confused

That thread got deleted as the op talked a big game but went running off to mnhq when she got a kicking.

pipsqueak25 · 07/11/2016 21:33

could be argued deleting is common for all sorts of stuff on here, some people ask for honest opinions, get upset with honest responses then report, i don't get the privacy bit, over 65 million people in the country ? wtf is the chance that you actually know xyz poster ?? ZAPPPPP....

Maudlinmaud · 07/11/2016 21:34

Deleted to protect privacy. Thread in site stuff MN have commented.

hobnobsaremyfavourite · 07/11/2016 21:34

The usual
"We don't usually delete threads Confused posters privacy yadda yadda"
Bollocks
Op got her arse handed to her , was deeply unpleasant to other posters
And then said she was going to have her thread deleted
Jack shit to do with privacy

The celebrity gossip thread 2 was deleted was people were talking about a banned topic. So someone started another and everyone was very good and didn't talk about the banned topic. But then they banned it for being a TAAT anyway

ArmySal · 07/11/2016 21:37

Pissed me off that being deleted, absolutely ridiculous Angry

CockacidalManiac · 07/11/2016 21:38

Take as old as time.

AIBU?
Yes you are.
NO I'M NOT!
Flounce.

Mishegoss · 07/11/2016 21:38

The only one I'm upset about is 'My Nanna'

CockacidalManiac · 07/11/2016 21:39

Funny how none of the threads that the DM gets hold of are ever deleted.

gunting · 07/11/2016 21:40

What happened to the nanna one?

This is the 3rd TAAT i have seen about this.

pipsqueak25 · 07/11/2016 21:50

i thought we enjoyed a democratic society, what is all this no taat shite about anyway, and how does mnhq know unless someone reports it ???be very afraid... big sister is watching.... Smile

Boundaries · 07/11/2016 21:54

Does it matter? It's an Internet forum. I don't understand why anyone cares!

YetAnotherHelenMumsnet · 07/11/2016 21:54

The Nanna one was a troll, and the message reflected that we think? Can we ask you to keep this to the one thread now as we can keep an eye on it more easily in one place? We confess we are a little taken aback at this response when by hobnobs' description it certainly sounds like a bunfight (not to mention the number of reports). www.mumsnet.com/Talk/site_stuff/2775131-Deleted-to-protect-privacy-seriously?watched=1&msgid=64748654#64748654

AlexaTwoAtT · 07/11/2016 21:56

Has the thread about the helpful girlfriend helping the OP's little daughter been deleted? I will be so annoyed if it has.

CockacidalManiac · 07/11/2016 21:57

I quite like a bun fight.

AlexaTwoAtT · 07/11/2016 21:58

Anyone ever used BiscuitBiscuitBiscuit instead?
