Just reading the hit home thread reminded me of an incident I recently had. At work a friends mobile rang, she looked at it said 'it's only my Dad I will call him back later' it occurred to me then at that vey moment, I've never had a call from my Dad, and never will (parents split, NC with father whilst alive, mum never encouraged it as would have interfered with subsequent variety of step fathers! ) AIBU to feel I've missed out? Wonder what it's like, I accept I'm probably bring a bit rose tinted glasses on this one
