To not answer the door?

I'm nine months pregnant and have SPD, and am at home on mat leave.

When DH comes home from work he (and/or DSD, if he's picked her up on the way home) always rings the doorbell instead of using his keys.

It drives me absolutely mad. He thinks it's not a big deal to just open the door, but it hurts like buggery to get up once I'm sitting down. And also, it's so unnecessary and I CBA.

Tonight I just didn't answer the door. I let them ring and knock until he eventually got the keys out.

WIBU?

YANBU!

It is very entitled behaviour. Like your primary function is to make his life easy, even if it causes you pain.

Sounds like he wants a 'welcome'. Nope, no way!

I have absolutely no health or mobility problems and it drives me mad when my DDs do this. It is so rude to expect me to drop everything and let them in. I was caught out a couple of times but now I just let them ring.

Yanbu. I am pregnant and will only ring the doorbell if I want DH to unload the car or if he's left his bastard keys in the door. He wouldn't dream of doing it to me.
